Summary of Foreign Student Selection
For students of foreign nationality within three years to Japan, the special selection has opened the way to the entrance examination.
The Schedule of the Special Selection
Not all schools have this process. It is held on the same day as the general selection, so you can not apply for both.
- Number of Students Accepted
- Small number in each school
- Appropriate Students
- Applicants needs be satisfies next two requirements.
- Anyone who has graduated from a Japanese junior high school or will graduate from it in March.
- Students with foreign nationality, who have entered Japan since April 2015 and live with their parents (must be within 3 years of arrival in Japan)

- Acceptance of an application
- February 19, Monday – February 21, Wednesday, at 12:00 in 2016

- February 27, Tuesday – February 28, Wednesday, at 12:00

- March 6, Tuesday and March 7, Wednesday

- March 15, Thursday at 12:00 Each school puts up the numbers of the students who pass the examination on the board.
- Method of Selection
- Chosa-sho (Student Information Sheet), Mensetsu (Interview), Test of Basic (Japanese Language Ability), Observation on Japanese ability and adaptability for school life etc.
- The test of Basic Japanese Language Ability
- It includes some general knowledge questions.
- Interview
- They will be used on the Student Information Sheet and the report of Observation on Japanese ability and adaptability for school life etc.. The candidate about your prospects for study, intentions, behavior, activities, career, general interests and special skills etc. will be asked. The interview is conducted in Japanese
